of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays


MISSION STATEMENT

 

PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through:

 

Support, to cope with an adverse society;

 

Education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and

 

Advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.

 

Parents, Families and Friend of Lesbians an Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity

 

 

 

The Grand Junction Chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays meets on the Third Thursday of each month at First Congregational Church, 1425 North 5th Street, Grand Junction Colorado. (Across the street from Grand Junction High School).

Meetings are held at 7:00 PM. Park around the back of the church and enter through the east door off the patio.

All parents, family members, and friends of gay and lesbian people are welcome to come. This is a support group with you in mind; you are not alone.
